At RENTAVAN, full-size passenger vans are our bread and butter. When it comes to options for renting passenger vans, we primarily focus on the most common and readily-available unit on the market: the Ford Transit T-350 XLT Passenger Van.
When it's time to plan the next family vacation, there comes a decision for our renters: Do I need a 12-Passenger van rental, or do I need a 15-passenger van rental?
12-Passenger Van
Seating for 11, plus the driver, these 19.5 foot low-roof behemoths are a joy to drive on the road. Front captains chairs, bench seating in a 2 seats - 3 seats - 2 & 1 seats - 4 seats configuration, with individually defined bucket seats that recline similar to an airplane's seat, round out the passenger section of these vans. Where the 12-Passenger Van really thrives is its 3.5 feet of cargo space behind the rear seats that define an enormous area to throw suitcases, gear, golf clubs, you name it.
15-Passenger Van
The workhorse of our fleet, these vans seat 14 passengers and one driver, and are jam packed with seating. These vans offer a 2 seats - 3 seats - 2 & 1 seats - 2 & 1 seats - 4 seats configuration, but with extra seats means the lack of storage space. If you are looking for a people hauler, the 15-Passenger Van offers the most seating of any non-CDL vehicle in the roadway. With more seats does offer the ability for configuration within manufactures weight-balance specifications, and seats can be removed from the 15-Passenger van to offer a unit arraignment for seating and storage.
